Monstera deliciosa ‘Albo Variegata Mint’

Tiny now.
Potentially catastrophic later.

The baby Monstera Albo Mint is one of those plants that already looks expensive before it’s even worked out what it’s doing with its life. Soft mint marbling, creamy variegation, unpredictable patterns and the kind of genetics that make collectors hover over it like dragons guarding treasure.

Every leaf feels like a lucky dip from the jungle gods.

Some come splashed.
Some come marbled.
Some look like somebody spilled pistachio gelato across a rainforest leaf and somehow made it fashionable.

And because it’s still a baby, you get the best part of the journey: watching it slowly transform from “cute little plant” into a giant fenestrated monster that starts taking over corners of your house like an unpaid green cryptid.

Bright indirect light is key to keeping that variegation strong. Too dark and it sulks. Too much harsh direct sun and it cooks faster than British people the first day it hits 23 degrees.

Chunky airy soil is essential. Think oxygen, drainage, and jungle floor vibes rather than compact swamp pudding.

Give it something to climb early and the leaves will begin levelling up with larger fenestrations and increasingly ridiculous variegation over time.

Rare. Weird. Beautiful.
Like owning a tiny living art project with abandonment issues.

One love, tiny phone people.

  • The following aroid mix I would like to share with you is working well for my Monstera:

    • Potting Soil (30%)
    • Orchid Bark (30%)
    • Perlite (30%)
    • Charcoal (5%)
    • Worm Castings (5%)

Water thoroughly when watering to mimic tropical jungle conditions. It is best practice to keep the soil humid but never soggy.

    Magnificent Mint Albo

this glorious little keeper is already sprouting a new leaf after only a week, came exceptionally healthy and is now thriving in its new home under the careful guidance and encouragement of its neighbouring varigated monsteras.
